Totally Locally Teddington 2014 World Cup!

This Summer just before the real event in Brazil, Totally Locally Teddington will be hosting it’s own local version of the real football World Cup! The tournament will see 16 5-a-side teams from local independent businesses battle it out at Teddington Cricket Club in glorious Bushy Park [location here] on Sunday June 1st to be crowned champions.

Many local events are geared towards mums and kids so here is one for the dads! Other fund-raising activities including a raffle with fabulous prizes from local businesses will raise funds for the League of Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital.

On the day there will be a BBQ and bar for supporters (and players!) so come along to support your favourite business/team.

  3. Sean says:

A quick suggestion – Could there be a board that shows all results during the day? Yesterday I was a bit in the dark as to who beat who. Thanks.

    • admin says:

Thanks Sean, that’s definitely on the cards for next time! We did have plans for a large board to show scores but a mix-up with the supply of goals delayed the start so we didn’t have time.

We’ll also have a louder PA system next year to announce results too.
