Thank you to everyone that turned up to enjoy the sunshine, football and help raise money for the League of Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital. £3,500 in total was raised via various methods and plans area already underway for a bigger and better tournament in 2015!
Chairman of The League of Friends of Teddington Memorial, Pamela Bryant MBE: “The Totally Locally Teddington World Cup was a great community event and we are thrilled at the money raised to support the League of Friends work for the benefit of Teddington Memorial Hospital and its patients. We are very grateful for the huge effort and enthusiasm of TL Teddington who made all this happen and the generosity of many people who donated, bought raffle tickets and participated in the football tournament.”
Due to popular demand, the Panini Swap Station will be returning this Sunday the 8th of June at Shambles Restaurant 3-5pm. Come along with your swaps to complete your collection and enjoy a cool drink in the garden or lunch whilst you’re there (restaurant closes at 5pm).
[Update] After a very popular and successfully swap, a second Swap Station date has been added: 22nd June 3-5pm at Shambles. Come along and bring your swaps!
[Update] Another sticker swap will be taking place at the Village Fair on Sunday 29th June! Look for the Totally Locally Teddington stall and bring your swaps – four books were completed at the last swap!
Raffle Ticket Winners
Winners of the Totally Locally Teddington World Cup raffle will be notified by text and can pick their prizes (selected randomly from plain envelopes) at the Swap Station event (or before this date generally from Shambles if you can’t attend).
Note: you will need to bring your winning ticket with you to claim your prize. For anyone that isn’t able to attend the event you can pop into the restaurant up to Sunday 15th June to claim your prize. After this date, we reserve the right to re-draw for any unclaimed prizes.
